The Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is hiring emergency and trauma radiologists.
Under new leadership, the Department is undergoing a dynamic transformation building on its longstanding legacy of excellence. The Department has a new competitive compensation plan (with performance-based incentives) coupled with a focus on faculty flexibility in schedules and staffing.
Join our world-renown team and practice emergency and trauma imaging at the center that pioneered trauma care! Work with incredible colleagues! This job posting is focused exclusively on 5pm-2am EST remote only positions from MD, FL, AL, GA, or TN with 2 schedule options.
Option 1: 121 shifts per year in a 7 on 14 off model. Base salary range $430k-500k depending on academic rank and years of experience.
Option 2: 156 evening shifts a year consisting of 26 weeks of 5-day evening shifts and every 4th weekend (24 weekend shifts/year). Salary range: 500k-600k depending on years of experience.
All faculty eligible for performance-based incentives above base salary. Signing bonus (25k). Extra duty shift work is available for extra compensation. Work more and earn more! Incredible comprehensive benefit package with generous retirement contributions and family/medical leave policies.
Split divisional clinical work is possible and particularly sought after with a mix of emergency radiology and neuroradiology. For those interested in split work, the neuroradiology-only evening shifts are 3p-12a.
