Our Sunshine Coast hospital has been purposefully designed as a hub of multidisciplinary excellence. Services include 24/7 Emergency, Critical Care, Surgery, Ophthalmology, advanced imaging, Anaesthesia, and Neurology (commencing May 2026), ensuring comprehensive and seamless care for every patient. As an extension of our established Brisbane hospitals, the Sunshine Coast hospital fosters a highly collaborative environment, working closely with our skilled specialists and dedicated support staff across all locations. This partnership ensures access to a broader network of expertise, enabling a unified approach to exceptional veterinary care and advancing outcomes through shared resources and knowledge.
The Internal Medicine Team
You will be joining the wider hospital group currently supported by 15 internal medicine clinicians including - 5 specialists, 3 registrars, 3 residents and 4 interns. You will provide strong clinical leadership fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Our Sunshine Coast hospital will offer a remarkable array of amenities (over 1500m2), including 10 consulting rooms, dedicated cat and dog hospital wards, spacious ICU and HDU facilities, 4 well equipped surgical theatres, 4 procedure rooms, 2 ultrasound suites, in-house pathology services, a comprehensive radiography suite featuring CT, and 2 digital X-ray rooms. Nestled just 900 meters from the beach, it combines advanced veterinary care with a serene coastal setting.

Requirements of the role:
- Be a Board qualified specialist in Internal Medicine being either a Fellow (ANZCVS) or Diplomate (ACVIM, ECVIM).
- Leadership and Management experience is highly desired
