Community Animal Care is looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our awesome team! If you love helping pets, supporting clients, and working with a fun, compassionate group of people, you’ll fit right in.
Our hospital is well-equipped with digital radiography, digital dental Xray, inhouse lab equipment, and ultrasound. We’re also a paperless practice, using EzyVet and ScribbleVet dictation software to make charting and clinical taking fast and efficient. You’ll have all the tools you need to do your best work.

Is available for evenings and Saturday rotations
Is a Licensed Veterinary Technician in NYS (required)
Requirements
What You’ll Be Doing
Assisting veterinarians during exams and entering notes into EzyVet
Drawing blood, placing catheters, and collecting lab samples
Running and sometimes interpreting lab tests (fecals, urinalysis, cytology, etc.)
Taking diagnostic images
Administering and monitoring anesthesia
Prepping for and helping with surgeries
Performing dental cleanings
Giving vaccines and medications
Filling prescriptions and reviewing instructions with clients
Providing kind, gentle care to every patient
