SASH Adelaide is ready to expand our Neurology and Neurosurgery team and we are looking for our second passionate Neurology and Neurosurgery Specialist, joining Dr Laura McLeay. You will be working closely with internal medicine, surgery, 24 hour emergency, critical care, radiology, dermatology, ophthalmology, oncology and physiotherapy, with plans to add cardiology in the coming months.
Our Adelaide facility has been fitted with a purpose-built Emergency and ICU space, staffed by 2 Criticalists and 1 Registrar, making it the perfect time to join our neurology team. Your patients will have access to the full service in-house lab, Ultrasound, CT scanner, MRI, digital radiography, EMG/EEG, three well equipped surgical theatres including an interventional radiology space with C-arm and more.

Requirements
About the Position:
SASH Adelaide is looking for a second enthusiastic and dedicated Neurology and Neurosurgery Specialist to join our team. You will work in a growing multidisciplinary setting, whilst also having the opportunity to draw on the knowledge and experience amongst the extensive network of SASH specialists interstate, providing you with a truly collaborative experience and assisting you to achieve the best results for your patients. The opportunity is a full time, permanent position across a 4-day week.
Candidates for this position must:
- Value a hospital culture of inclusivity, empathy and teamwork.
- Be eligible to register as a veterinarian in South Australia and be qualified as a specialist in Neurology and Neurosurgery being a Diplomate with ACVIM or ECVIM.
- If you have completed an approved residency training program in neurology and are eligible to sit a certification examination, we would still love to hear from you!
