About the Radiography Teaching Opportunity

Valencia College is committed to preparing students for successful careers in healthcare through high-quality instruction and a supportive learning environment. As a Part-Time Radiologic and Imaging Sciences Faculty member, you will have the opportunity to share your professional knowledge and experience while helping students develop the skills needed to succeed in the radiography field.

The selected instructor will teach coursework with a focus on RTE3590, supporting students as they strengthen their knowledge and competencies in radiography and related imaging practices.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following educational requirements:

• A master’s degree with a major in radiography or a health-related field; OR a master’s degree and at least 18 graduate semester hours in radiography or a health-related field.
• Applicants must also possess the following current credentials:
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) licensure
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration
  • CT certification

*Florida Residency Requirement: Selected candidates must establish and maintain Florida residency within 30 days of their start date.

Salary Information

Compensation is determined by the total contact-hour course assignment and the highest earned degree, in accordance with Valencia College’s salary schedule.
