Registered Veterinary Technician (Surgery) SAGE ConcordFull-Time (4/10s or 3/12s Schedule)Compensation: $30$40/hour

As a Surgery RVT, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality surgical care to our patients. You'll work alongside board-certified surgeons and highly skilled veterinary professionals in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Preoperative Care: Prepare surgical suites assist with patient preparation.
- Anesthesia: Administer, monitor, and adjust anesthesia during procedures, ensuring patient safety.
- Surgical Assistance: Assist surgeons by providing instruments, maintaining aseptic technique, and anticipating needs.
- Postoperative Care: Monitor patient recovery, administer medications, maintain accurate medical records.
- Radiography: Capture and process diagnostic X-rays as needed for surgical procedures.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean, sterilize, and maintain surgical equipment and instruments.
- Client Communication: Provide clear, compassionate guidance on postoperative care and home recovery instructions.
- Emergency Response: Assist with emergency surgical procedures when needed.
- Any other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active and current California RVT license is required
- Clinical experience in veterinary surgery
- Strong mathematical skills (drug dosages, CRIs, estimates)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
