The Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking a full-time mammographer for the clinician-educator or clinical practice academic tracks.
Vanderbilt has a designated multidisciplinary breast center that serves a large population throughout Middle Tennessee. The breast radiologists work in collaboration with the breast surgeons, plastic surgeons, medical and surgical oncologists, and pathologists to provide comprehensive patient care. This collaborative and collegial environment provides exposure to all facets of breast health management.
Daily rotations in diagnostic and screening mammography, breast MRI and image-guided procedures are staffed by the radiologists on a rotating schedule.
Our equipment includes state-of-the-art digital mammography units, including tomosynthesis (with upright and prone biopsy capability), five dedicated breast ultrasound machines, a prone stereotactic biopsy unit and a 1.5T dedicated breast MRI scanner.

Requirements
Position Requirements:
Fellowship training in breast imaging
Hold an MD or equivalent degree
ABR eligible/certified
Eligible for TN license
Comfortable with interpretation of mammograms, breast and axillary US, Breast MRI, interventional breast procedures
A 403.B program with approximately 5% salary match
Sizable relocation allowance for on-site readers moving to Nashville
