Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician-led 650+ provider multispecialty group seeking a full time general orthopedic surgeon to join a busy orthopedic practice in Fruitland, Idaho. The team is supported by two Orthopedic Sports Medicine physicians and three Advanced Practice Providers. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, includes a minimum of 32 patient contact hours per week, plus procedures, rounding and consults & General Ortho ED Call.
Support: Hospital-based imaging services include a 24/7 radiology department with in-house coverage for general Radiology and CT; after hours coverage for Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine; MRI; Comprehensive Breast Center; and DR image capture technology.
Requirements:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
Successful completion of accredited residency.
Board certification through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) - or obtain within 3 years.
Obtain Idaho & Oregon medical licensure and granting of privileges at SAMC-Ontario and SAMC- Nampa;
Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
Willingness to take general orthopedic call.
