The pre-doctoral endodontic clinic is exceptionally well-equipped—each operatory includes a 5-step surgical dental operating microscope and dedicated digital radiography units. While the position focuses primarily on pre-doctoral education, there are opportunities to engage with our advanced education program and as well as collaborate on researcher topics of interest. Function/Duties of Position The faculty appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university’s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service. The position supports the missions, goals and objectives of the Division of Endodontology within the School of Dentistry. This position includes responsibilities in the didactic and clinical education of students in the Predoctoral DMD program and in the Advanced Education Program in Endodontics. Clinical oversight of the delivery of patient care in the Predoctoral Endodontic Clinic and the Graduate Endodontic Clinic, didactic course content delivery, course directorship, and other academic activities are duties of the position.
The faculty appointee is eligible to conduct direct patient care as a member of the OHSU School of Dentistry Faculty Dental Practice.

Requirements
D.D.S. or D.M.D. from a CODA accredited school or equivalent Completion of advanced education program in Endodontics from a CODA accredited program Board Certification in Endodontics (preferred but not required) Ability to obtain an unrestricted Oregon Dental License or a Faculty License Nitrous oxide or minimal sedation certification preferred BLS Certificate issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) Experience in management of a private practice in endodontics (preferred) Experience in teaching, research, service, patient care, and academic management, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills are preferred
