Truesdell Animal Care Hospital is hiring a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our team! What to Expect:
- Schedule: 4-day work week, with rotating Saturday shifts
- No on-call or emergency after-hours

About Our Hospital: Truesdell Animal Care Hospital is a well-established general practice that has been AAHA-accredited for over 25 years, reflecting our commitment to providing high-quality veterinary care and low-stress handling for our patients.
We primarily see dogs and cats, and also support a growing exotic pet clientele. Our experienced support staff is comfortable handling reptiles, birds, and pocket pets, making this a great opportunity for a veterinarian interested in developing or expanding an exotic caseload. Our hospital fosters a highly collaborative environment, with multiple doctors on-site throughout the day to consult on cases, share ideas, and support one another. We believe in practicing gold-standard medicine while partnering closely with pet owners, so they feel informed and involved in decisions about their pet’s care.
Our Facility: our modern, state-of-the-art veterinary hospital is designed to support efficient workflows and high-quality patient care. The clinic features:
- 6 exam rooms and a large open treatment area
- Soft tissue surgery suite and two dental wet tables
- Paperless EzyVet practice management system
- AI-powered scribe technology to streamline medical documentation
Equipment & Services: We provide comprehensive veterinary care, including preventative medicine, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and limited exotics, with a strong focus on high-quality general practice medicine. Our services do not include boarding or grooming, allowing our team to focus entirely on patient care.
Our hospital is equipped with:
- Digital radiology and digital dental radiography
- Ultrasound
- Therapy laser
- In-house IDEXX laboratory
- Scribble Vet AI for efficient SOAP note documentation

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Valid veterinary license in the state of Wisconsin
