The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for preparing, measuring and administering radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic studies. This person performs and assists with nuclear medicine studies and maintains all federal, state, local and regulatory agency requirements. This person works with other staff in the department to ensure procedures are performed efficiently, effectively and with the highest level of quality and concern for each patient.
Requirements
Candidate must have working knowledge of a variety of nuclear cardiology imaging procedures and have current CNMT or ARRT(N) certification.
Must be a team player who is self-motivated, organized and detail oriented. Must have the ability to function with minimal supervision while demonstrating independent judgment and reasoning ability. Must demonstrate effective communication skills with patients as well as other staff members. Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds and be able to assist patients both on and off imaging cameras.
