Brookfield Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our experienced, supportive team in Brookfield, Connecticut.

Our hospital is a beautiful, purpose-built veterinary facility designed specifically with patient care, client experience, and team workflow in mind. With a large lobby, high ceilings, dedicated clinical areas, a surgical suite, imaging space, isolation room, and an in-house boarding facility, Brookfield offers a unique environment for someone who wants to be involved in both veterinary care and client service.

What You'll Do

As a Veterinary Assistant, you will help support patient care, hospital flow, and boarding operations.

Responsibilities may include:

• Patient restraint and handling
• Exam room support
• Treatment area support
• Laboratory support
• Surgery and procedure support
• Client communication
• Cleaning and stocking
• Boarding/kennel support
• General hospital workflow support

• Previous veterinary experience preferred
• Reliable and dependable

REQUIREMENTS

• 1 plus year veterinary experience or education
• Team-oriented
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
