We're seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Neurologist to join our established specialty and emergency hospital on Chicago's northwest side. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a thriving neurology service while working alongside a highly collaborative team of specialists, emergency clinicians, and experienced support staff.

Our specialty services include Surgery, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Radiology, Cardiology, and Emergency Medicine, creating a multidisciplinary approach to managing complex neurological cases.

Premier Veterinary Group's 10,000-square-foot specialty and emergency hospital is designed to support advanced diagnostics, surgery, and patient care. The facility features:
- Two surgical suites equipped for minimally invasive procedures
- Full scoping capabilities
- High-flow oxygen therapy
- Mechanical ventilation
- Digital radiography
- Ultrasound
- Computed Tomography (CT)
- 1.5 Tesla MRI

In your day-to-day, you will:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage complex neurological disorders in companion animals.
- Perform advanced neurological diagnostics and treatment planning utilizing MRI, CT, and other advanced imaging resources.
- Collaborate closely with Surgery, Internal Medicine, Radiology, Critical Care, Cardiology, and Emergency Medicine teams on multidisciplinary cases.
- Participate in advanced case management, consultations, and ongoing patient care discussions.
- Help develop and grow the neurology service in alignment with hospital priorities and patient needs.
- Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.
What You Bring
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Illinois veterinary licensure.
- Board Certification in Neurology or residency-trained in Neurology.
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
- A passion for continuous learning, teamwork, and advancing specialty medicine.
